Meet Elisha — owner of a woman-owned, Black-owned, veteran-owned coffee shop in Cleveland called The People's Cafe (https://www.thepplscafe.com).

After serving 10 years in the US Air Force and tasting coffee from all around the world, Elisha found that there was a lack of coffee spaces made specifically for Black people and Black culture in Cleveland. She currently sells coffee online and at pop ups. 

On her mission to bring delicious cups of coffee back to her community, she encourages young people to celebrate the things that inspire them. We were happy to donate $1000 to ensure Elisha gets closer to opening up her own coffee shop.
