COMMUNITY FUND: TRACY D. – LEZÉ the Label

During the day, Tracy is a youth social worker helping youth overcome serious life barriers and secure stable employment. During the weekends and evenings, she volunteers religiously at SOYA — a grassroots organization that provides warm food, life essentials and harm reduction to the cities' most vulnerable.

The small community of Sault Sainte Marie is disproportionately affected with high overdose rates in comparison to the rest of Ontario. What began as a resource for youth who were suffering from opioid addiction has grown to serve and welcome any individuals who are struggling. Tracy selflessly pours any spare time, money and emotional support to the community, emphasizing the importance of conversations with members that allow them to feel loved and valued.

Thanks to her co-worker, Amanda, we were able to gift Tracy and SOYA $2,000 to support Tracy's personal expenses to fund the mission of SOYA.
